SenSys is holding a block of rooms at the Fairmont Royal York. These rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis at a discounted rate of $182 CDN per night single or double occupancy. Triple occupancy is an additional $30 CDN and quadruple occupancy is an additional $60 CDN per room, per night. Please be aware that the reserved rooms fill quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early.

The group rate includes in room Internet services. Please inquire at check-in.

The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi on the premises. However, you need to register to their Fairmont Presidents Club.

The hotel guarantees the above rates from November 3, 2012 through November 12, 2012 for early arrivals and late departures. The group rate is guaranteed until the cutoff date unless the block fills prior to that. If there are rooms available after the cutoff date, they will be available at the best rate offered at that time. Reservation deadline is Monday, October 8, 2012 (or until the room block is filled).

The Citizenship and Immigration Canada has been notified and its (visa) offices around the world are aware of the conference. In general, the visa application process should be straightforward, yet, each individual's experience might be different. Therefore, we advise you to apply for a visa as soon as possible. Make sure that you have a paper copy of the support letter along with other documents with you when you arrive Canada.

Letters from ACM:

International registrants should be particularly aware and careful about visa requirements, and should plan travel well in advance. All visa inquiries must be handled by ACM HQ. Please send your request for a letter in support of a visa application to supportletters@acm.org and include your name, mailing address, and fax number, as well as the name of the conference you are attending. Authors of papers/demos/posters should also include the title. Please note that what you receive is a support letter. ACM does not issue formal "letters of invitation" to any of its conferences.

The Fairmont Royal York can be reached via two airports:

• Lester B. Pearson International Airport is located about 20 miles (32 km) from the hotel
• Toronto City Centre Airport, located on Toronto Island

Airport Express Shuttle Bus: An airport shuttle bus runs frequently from both terminals at Pearson International Airport and stops at The Fairmont Royal York. Tickets can be purchased directly from the concierge or shuttle driver.

Train: The Fairmont Royal York is located directly across from Union Train Station.

Parking: The hotel offers valet parking at a rate of $42 CDN per night, including in and out privileges. Short term parking rates at the hotel range from $11 CDN for 30 minutes or less to $26 CDN for 2 hours. Also, there are several nearby public parking locations, however, they are typically as expensive.
